I need a good T shirt sales website

by Jeff 21. May 2009 15:36

Why is it so hard to find a good website to sell my t shirts on, there are so many companies out there but some of them want to take the idea make it there own and pay me a small design fee, no thanks. Yes there are companies that will sell my t shirt but they change way too much. The basic t shirt shouldn’t cost more than $20 but the print on demand websites want $20 themselves add profit and now the shirt is over priced so much that no one will buy it. Selling on the internet is hard enough never mind having an over priced item. I would like the shirts to be priced under $20 and still make a profit. So far I haven’t found anything good for selling my designs.

On a side note what if there was a way to get designers more involved in the process where they could make a profit on each sale and still have the shirt cost under $20 now that would be something interesting.

To get the cost under $20 we bought a gross of 100 shirts using a couple designs and sizes. I still have some work to do but at least the process has been started. I still think I’m going to use nopCommerce; all its features have hung in with every solution I’ve come across. Some of the plug-ins for WordPress sound good but I think that’s just marketing and that nopCommerce is still a better solution for selling. Although it would be nice to have an integrated blog with the store, my partner is very funny and willing to write his thoughts down and make the world laugh. Every time I’m with him I can’t help but laugh, his stories or comments on things in general have me laughing time and time again but that’s something for another time. The point is he is willing to write and I need to come up with a place for him to post to. More...

Computer crashed

by Jeff 4. April 2009 15:18

Ahhhhhh, my computer crashed.

Me, my wife (Amanda) and my uncle (Alan) where goofing around and Alan tried to tickle my feet just after I tickled my wife's feet, the whole thing was fun and it would have been fine it's just that he was on an unstable chair. He tickled, I pulled back and well... with my foot he followed. A slight crash noise was made, bearly louder than the TV. I didn't even look to see what the noise was. About a half hour later I asked him to read something I had written for another web site I started ScamResearchCenter.com and that was when we noticed my computer was dead. That noise was the chair kicking into my computer which didn't have the side on it. The computer was dead, oh well I needed a new one anyways. The only problems is I don't have a job right now and can't afford it. So I've been making due using my laptop which is old (2 years) and slow. I tried reviving an old server that I obtained from a repair job a couple of months ago, but no luck. I have some other parts that I'll try next week, who knows maybe after I go though my parts I'll have a better computer.

I know it's been a while and I meant to post frequent updates. It's just been a little much lately that's all.

Just before the computer crash I did get TFRPortal into an Alpha state and will post it soon.

Thanks for stooping by
